The company began with the vision of co-founder, Devin Oberto. One summer Devin and his wife, Kathryn, encountered an issue with the air conditioning system in their Florida home. Dissatisfied with the poor service and frustrated by the lack of communication from their HVAC company, Devin resolved to create a superior company, one dedicated to providing high-quality, reliable air conditioning services that would quickly build a reputation for honesty, integrity and old-fashioned friendly service.
Devin Oberto – For more than ten years, Devin served as a project manager for a large, national construction company, building casinos, condominiums, parking garages and other commercial and residential projects. Devin is a graduate of the University of Florida and M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Building Construction. He holds a general contractor's license from the State of Florida and is a LEED-accredited professional. He is a State of Florida certified air conditioning contractor and holds an EPA, Section 608, Universal Certification. While transitioning from general commercial construction projects to specializing in HVAC, Devin obtained a vocational certificate in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration from Seminole State College.
Kathryn Oberto – Kathryn is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Political Science, a minor in Economics, and a concentration in German. She went on to earn a Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida Law School. Kathryn is a partner with the national law firm, Holland & Knight, where she specializes in transactional and commercial real estate law.
Together Devin and Kathryn combine years of construction, legal and customer service expertise to provide the foundation for Atlas Air Conditioning Services. They live in Winter Park with their German shepherd, Sergeant Schultz, who is rumored to run their household. When asked, Schultz says that he “knows nothing.”
